| Requirements for candidates: | Support Services Sector OPERATIONS MANAGER c.£45,000 + bonus + car + excellent benefits Based: Yorkshire Our client is a major multimillion pound environmental services provider in the UK and US, delivering respected expertise to the power, transport and forestry industries, among others. Their Utility Division in Yorkshire is an important hub in the company's vegetation management operations in this country, and that's why they are now looking for a commercially astute Operations Manager to make a hugely visible and lasting impact. You will ensure the high quality and efficient delivery of contracts, oversee safe working practices, and lead resource planning, management and development. The business will also look to you to set budgets, conduct forecasts and develop proactive client relationships. Perhaps most important of all, you'll manage large teams of technical and administrative staff spread over a wide geographical area. Our client is looking for someone from a Support Services background, preferably with proven high level contract delivery experience; someone with the no- nonsense, down-to-earth nature necessary to get a complex job done. The ability to deliver tight margin business is key, as are project management skills, strong interpersonal skills and the drive to lead others to successful contract delivery. | |
