| Job description: | Oversees all construction activities. Monitors construction work and ensures compliance with construction documents and all applicable standards, codes, and guidelines. Schedules and conducts pre-bid conferences, pre-construction conferences, and weekly construction progress meetings. Coordinates construction activities among all concerned parties. Maintains project files in accordance with applicable funding source guidelines. Prepares change orders and amendments. Keeps records and prepares reports, coordinates material testing, and identifies changes to the scope of work. Insures that construction contracts are in compliance with applicable federal and state equal opportunity legislation. Coordinates activities with outside agencies to insure timely completion of all projects. Compiles and analyzes technical data and prepares reports concerning a project(s) and related activities. | |
